An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with proven experience to work within our Mental Health Liaison team at Warrington and Halton General Hospitals.

The post holder will work as an integral part of the clinical MDT, alongside nursing and psychiatry colleagues to deliver a high quality Clinical Psychology service within Liaison Mental Health.

The post will require you to work at the interface between physical and mental health to provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and where appropriate, brief intervention to service users who present with complex mental health problems. Delivery of staff training, supervision, consultation and support for the liaison team and the acute hospital staff is fundamental to this role. This post is subject to an enhanced with adults Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from salary.
