An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Warrington Learning Disability Community Team for a Deputy Team Manager to join our team to support the Team Manager and Clinical Lead to deliver the new function of the Enhanced Intensive Support Team, and  the established Community Learning DisabilityTteam .

This is a demanding and challenging role where, as a successful candidate, you will be required to demonstrate high levels of resilience, excellent problem solving and inter-personal skills as well as the ability to provide sound clinical support and managerial support to team members.

The post holder will also demonstrate a passion for coaching leadership style, quality improvement and  attitude which respects and values service users’ choice and works alongside them and their carers to ensure they are at the centre of care planning.

This is an exciting new opportunity to work in a newly developed team and at the same time be part of a well-established community learning disability team which includes Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurses and Assistants.

Candidates must have the relevant professional registration to apply.

Our core operational hours are between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.  Applicants must be able to be flexible with their working patterns to meet the needs of the service

The ability to travel is an integral part of this post, please indicate in your supporting information how you intend to meet this requirement.

This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.  Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
